error in Gapless sequence [message #226753]

Hello all
my business users are facing the following error whenever they change the transaction date in AR and this is for some invoices. when I researched I found that the line items were deleted. this is following error
The Gapless Sequence "so and so" was already used for this transaction. Please update the transaction type and date to refer to the existing sequence

I would appreciate if you help me in this.

I have not encountered this problem myself, but if I did, I would search MetaLink, and if I still could not find an answer, I would raise an SR.

thanks for the reply .. I have searched Metalink and wasnt able to close to the issue accordingly .... I have raised a SR alternatively.
