hi there!!!

i am trying to make a connection to my db using os authentication but it's not working. I am in a domain, i belong to the ora-dba group and my sqlnet.ora file is configured properly(i think) SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES= (NTS).

both server and client are in my machine. using sqlplus and conn / as sysdba doesnt work.

in my folder oracle\admin\<database>\pfile i cant find init.ora file, the only file i have is init.ora.29200...

Thanks

I do not use OS authentication , so I am not totally sure, but suggest that you refer to this detailed article at:
