I have database and I display all records in a canvas. I put codes on key-down so that the user cannot create new record using arrow down. I want the user to create additional records by pressing button. But when the user uses mouse and click on row after the last queried record it create new record. How can I prevent this?

Have you tried turning 'insert' on the block 'off' and only turn it back on when the user presses the 'insert' button?
