Need guidance to acquire tablename associated to each screen [message #225905]

Hi,

I need someone to guide me or share with me if there is any way to know the tablename associated to each screen. E.g. How to know if Customer Addresses screen refers to ra_addresses_all?

Any inputs would be much appreciated.

1) Open the screen for which u need the table information
2) HELP-->RECORD HISTORY -->Table name
3) If it is the view , open the source for the view

You will get the table link and information of the screen

I found the base tables through dependencies. Perhaps you have better way and are willing to share in order to achieve the same result.

I would be eager to share my knowledge..for more exploration!!!

1) In case u have toad installed... just press F4 from the name of the view and the view source is displayed.

2) From SQL..
SQL>select text from all_views where view_name='RA_ADDRESSES'
