Hello,

is it possible to update WIP jobs to Complete - No Charges (status_type = 5) using WIP Mass Load (WICMLP)or an API?

This is very urgent and I appreciate any help you can offer.

Hello,

any ideas on this. The business requirement is we don't want mrp to see the jobs and unfortunately mrp sees jobs in complete status. the unissued components are seen as demand.

From the manual I know WIP Mass Load doesn't allow the Complete No - Charges status. However, we need a way to mass update the jobs quickly without user intervention. Going to the Tools Menu is not a valid option because

a) it takes too long and the user cannot use the system while the status is getting changed (try changing 1000 jobs from Complete to Complete No-Charges using the tools menu). You might as well do it during lunch time Smile

b) we want the status to change in the background (via a request or api or another alternative)

any ideas?
