6i. I am having D2k tools but i cant find the generate option?

i want to migrate forms 3.0 to forms 6i.
so i read that we can use generate option in forms to do so.

cntrl+T is used to generate executable file.

Do you know the exact process of converting forms 3.0 to
forms 6i???

Search this forum for 'convert', 'conversion', and 'migrat'. Basically, use Forms 4.5 to get the forms from 3.4 to 4.5 and then use Forms 6i to get the forms from 4.5 to 6i.

There are products 'out there' that say they will do the conversion for you. Google it.

In another words, are you searching for a utility which will create FMX files from bunch of FMB ones (something like IAG creates FRM from Forms 3.0 INP)?

IAG (or Interactive Application Generator) is a very old SQL*Forms utility used to convert FORMS from INP to FRM format. If you run it interactively, it would prompt your for table names, column names, screen positions, etc. and generate the FRM from the input provided.

However, that is all ancient history now...
