I am trying to compile sequence in SQL Editor(using TOAD) but
i got this is not sequence compile editor? so where i need to compile sequence? i know oracle 8i .but please explain in TOAD?

If you are trying to create a sequence, just run the SQL in an SQL window (the icon with the 3 stacked discs and SQL written over the top)

And if it is not the issue, what do you call "compiling a sequence"? How do you do it in Oracle 8 (did you mean in SQL*Plus?)?.
