RAC troubleshooting [message #221932]

Hi,
I have installed oracle9i RAC on windows2003 few days back.yesterday one node failed to come up. All cluster services are up and running. I am not able to start oracle services, it hangs.
I have rebooted the server ,still problem persists.
How to bring the second node up and how to reconfigure the second node without disturbing the node1.

No useful diagnostic information to start with here. Post something!. Check your logs/alerts. Post the errors messages.

Dear Mahesh,

Sorry for that ...

Here is the Error Meesage:

ORA-1053 : Service did no response to start or control request in a timely fashion

Also the Oracle service is not starting.

Please reply am in a hurry...

Check the optinos ( as suggested by nuge007) and check the alertsid.logs.
Did you try to start manually? (not from windows services).
This is to with the registered services.
