Hi,

Multi-org means single installation of Oracle Applications will support multiple organizations with the use of different Set of Books. Supports any number of Legal Entities.

Eg: Take the Example of TATA Industry.
TATA will install the business in single instance, but it supports these multiple businesses Tata Sky, Tata Motors, Tata Consulting Services ....

Thanks & Regards,

Multi org is a server side enhancement that enable multiple business units in an enterprise to use a single installation of oracle products.

Set up

We have to define SOB.

2. We need to define Business Group.

3. GRE/ Legal Entity.

4. Operating Unit.

5. Inventory Organization.

6. Sub-Inventory.

7. Locations.

Note After defining the OU need to run a report ADADMIN to convert to multi Org only one time

after Set up - Run Seed data Replication report.

Total Profile Option

MO:Operating Unit
MO: Top Reporting Level
HR: User Type to HR User
HR:Security Profile Option
HR: Business Group System

Thanks Regards,
Ramesh

Hi Buddy,

The Multiorg Concept is like we have a BIG BUSINESS group and further we have one or many Legal Entities then to the next step of the hierarchy we have operating units and then inventry organizations. These four items are mandatory. To set up MO we will have to create a BG(Business Group) and other items as well. We will have to set up some profiles also HR Security profile,MO Operating Units,MO Security profile etc. If u need detailed info about it then plz feel free to contact me at amit3101.bhatnagar@gmail.com.

Regards,

Amit.
