disable text items in enter_query mode [message #217544]

Hi,

I need to set a default value in a text field and restrict users from modifying the value. This value is used as query criteria. I have tried to disable the text field before the form is set in enter_query mode but the item is being enabled after 'ENTER_QUERY' statement. Any ideas on what I can do? I am using Forms6i. Thanks for you help.

Use PRE-BLOCK-TRIGGER and use set_item_property() Built-in to set the property of text time [item?] in Enter Query mode.......

Try making the field a display only item and give it a default value.
