Hello Everybody ,,,

Do Anyone Have an idea how to convert Arabic Name to English in Oracle ..

For Example ,,

in my Application , i have 2 text items , one for Arabic Name and the another one is for English Name .

What i want is : when the User Enters the Name in Arabic it should be converted automatically to its equivalent English Name .
For Example,if the user enters "محمد علي" it should be converted to "Mohammed Ali"

Thanking You ,,,,

You either have to create the list of language text pairs (in a table in the database) and use it to populate the second entry or use a web service to get it.

I suggest searching this forum for 'arab' or look in the 'Non-English Forum' 'Arabic'.
