Is it true that services created using DBCA during database creation(or later) cannot be used for server side TAF?
It doesn't seem to be working for me. But I am able to do client side failover configuration using these services. (I copied the tns entry to the client side and was able to test failover scenarios).
Am I missing something? or is it true?
Thanks!!!

Being specific may help a little.
There are several bugs with DBCA that are related to TAF. In most cases, DBCA seems to ignore or just forget a few settings.
But i am not aware of anything like this
