Hey
i have tried it much but i didnt do this, so i m just making a discussion forum so that i know that this can either be done in oracle forms or not,
i want to create an time-attendance program in oracle developer 6i with the help of Finger Prints device attach on com Port1. as the user put its finger on the device the computer match it and insert its record for the presence of particular person. Can any1 plz tell me that is it possible or not.

It is my belief that it can be done. You need to communicate with the device via 'ole2' or 'ora_ffi'.
