we have developed an application using oracle developer 2000 and oracle 8i. However, now we wanted to migrate the entire application to SQL Server/.Net plateform. in this regard, microsoft has provided a tool called SSMA for migrating oracle db to sql server. It has solved half of the problem. could any help us in remaining problem CONVERTING FROMS OF DEVELOPER 2000 TO VB.NET IN SUCH A WAY THAT ALL THE UNDERLYING FUNCTIONALITY REMAINS IN THE NEW MIGRATED APPLICATION.

THANX

I think you might have more luck in a Microsoft-based forum.
Most people here still work with Oracle; they either have never worked with .NET or did conversions the other way around.

You say "It has solved half of the problem." I believe that you have only handled 10% of the problem.
