i created a user in oracle and when I connects to database through EM, I gets error
"insufficient privileges"
in CONNECT AS, i tried NORMAL,SYSOPER,SYSDBA ..but no luck .
any clue ?

Taj,for your information i will give more details.
my Oracle DB is running on UNIX.
and I am connecting from WINDOWS using EM.
windows i loged in as WINUSER.
and i use orauser1 to connect to oracle database.connect as NORMAL.it WORKS!!!!!
then i try connect as orauser2.then i get "insufficient privileges"

hi,
Through orauser2 you connect "NORMAL" or "SYSDBA".
check on ur server. sqlnet.ora file.
sqlnet.authentication.services = [NONE,NTS]
or
User member of ORA_DBA group.
then you can connect "SYSDBA".
