Asslam o alaikum all,
i am facing a real hard issue. i am calling oracle forms 10g from the businessobjects XI portal through a hyperlink.when i click on the hyperlink iexplore.exe crashes wihtout any message. when i go to the Event Viewer it has following message

Faulting application iexplore.exe, version 7.0.5730.11, faulting module jvm.dll, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x0004ed44.

This form is in perfect condition and on IE 6 same thing happens if u access the form through the gyperlink but if u open an IE 6 instance and type the address manually it works fine.
Please help me out.................
i have to launch it on Monday..
Best Regards,

Fake it, have the form already running in an iconised screen and pop it up just after you press the button. Then fix it later, if it can be done.

Have you found any demos on the Oracle Forms web site that is following a similar execution path?

I'm having the exact problem. Did you ever come up with a solution (other than the faking-it suggested by djmartin)?

asslam o alaikum brother,
solution is install the firefox and download the latest JVM inshaAllah it will work for u as well as it did for me.
With MS Internet Explorer problem still exists even after installting the latest JVM.
Best Wishes Have a go........
