I installed Oracle 9i in WinXP Professional SP2.
When I go to Data Sources setup control panel, the oracle 9i driver does not appear in the list of available drivers.
The registry appears correct -- the driver is listed in HKLM --> Software --> ODBC --> ODBCINST.INI as installed and the correct path is given to SQORA32.dll.
The driver is present in the directory.
All the paths given in HKLM --> Software --> ODBC --> ORACLE are also correct.
I have uninstalled the Oracle client and deleted mentions of it in the registry and then reinstalled, but no luck.
I would appreciate suggestions.
