hi,
i want to import an oracle 8i database,
first i created database in windows 2000 os,
then i imported the database,
do i have to create all the users before import the database or import utility automatically create user,tablespace detail in to target database
plz help me

If both databases (the one which was the source of your export file and newly created one) are the same (i.e. were created by default, without additional adjusting - creating new tablespaces etc.), then import should do the job for you.
