Hi Hi
I want to load data from files into an Oracle DB. I tried to invoke the sqlldr command from a linux machine, but it gave me: command not found. I want to know if anyone has an idea on how to load data from files or what is wrong with the sqlldr command.

Do you mean the Oracle installation folder by ORACLE_HOME? and where should it be defined?

export the ORACLE_HOME in the shell prompt before you run the sqlldr command..like here below
$ export ORACLE_HOME=/u01/oracle/product/10.0.1.2/db_1/bin
$ sqlldr #enter the command here
Cheers
