Hi Friends,
I have a Master-Detail block in which I need to display the number of records in the Detail block
displayed whenever I select the Master record.

I usually discourage this kind of functionality but if you have no choice you could have a look at summary fields.

You could also use the 'count_query' command. Search this forum for 'count_query' I think I wrote somewhere where you need to issue the command as part of the 'pre-query', and certainly before the 'execute_query' otherwise the 'count_query' will retrieve ALL the records. This is not good when you are working with MANY rows.
