Hi,

Currently we are taking a rman backup of a 633GB database. The RMAN backup is taking 6 hours to complete. Is there anything we can do to reduce the backup time.

Please refer the log file for more info.

Why are you doing this?
>> sql "alter session set events ''10046 trace name context forever, level 12''";

You may want to look into incremental backups (which does not guarantee that time taken/volume backed up will be less. But still helps a full backup of 633GB database).
Did you do any of these recomendations?
