This is Oracle FAQ Forum; as UTL_ENCODE.MIMEHEADER_ENCODE exists in Oracle, what function would you like to know about? Did you, perhaps, miss the Forum and search for such a function in MySQL, for example, or MS SQL Server, or did I misunderstood your question?

So you'd like to know is there any other function that does the same as MIMEHEADER_ENCODE? I don't know.

But, this seems to be the same question as "is there a function which does the same as MAX / or UPPER / or COUNT / or TO_DATE". What would be a reason to create two (or more) functions with the same functionality?

this mimeheader_encode function inserts CRLF after 76 characters. And I want to avoid it.since my subject in mail if greater than 76 char is getting added in body of mail after 76 char.
