In a scenatrio,where i lost control file due to media failure.What will be the impact on DB .Will oracle server bring down the DB automatically ?Where the future writes on the control file go during shutdonw ?

Suppose,i have a backup control file taken 1 days back(after that there is not physical change in database) ,will i be able to use that Control file after restore it

May be Yes or No.
if Yes when no change made in ur database.
or No. If changes made in database.
Depand on ur media failure how many control file affected due to media failure if one of more.
You all file must ( controlfile or datafile ) be sync for open ur database.

Suppose i am using old control file,and ther was no there was no change in phy structure of database ....how that works ?
Control file will hav currect SCN no:, Current online redo info etc...so how can a old control file be in sync .
