Hi all,
hopping I'm in the right place.
to the point :
I have installed an Oracle 10g client on a Virtual Machine (VM ware server), all seems to looks fine, the DNS connection test in the net configuration assistant is OK, but when i try to use a client like SQL+ I can't connect (with "ORA-12154 TNS: Could not resolve the connect identifier specified"). the Oracle dns looks ok (I never had this pb before), I have search for hours (even days) but I have now any more Idea...
could someone Help me, or give any idea ?
other data
Host server = win2003srv
VM OS = win2003srv (it is the server part of a 3/3 app.)
I only have the problem in VM ware environement.
(sorry for my poor english).
