can anyone tell me that how can i fix the intial value of number datatype field as 0.00

hi
open property pallete

set initial value = 0

and

format mask = 000000.00
format mask length should be as long as the actual field length in database

thanx for replying but no thanx,
i have done this but of no avail bcz wen we select the field again after inserting the value the value get hided bcz the length is long and the item width is small as others items are to be shown,
any other solution.

What version of forms are you running? How wide is your Field? How big is it in your database?

I m using Form 6i the length of field is 22,2

make the 'Data - Maximum Length' big enough to handle '22,2' but make the 'Physical - Width' 4 or 5.
