Hi David,
Thanks a lot for your valuable information.
But still one concept is vague in that.
What does it actually mean,by saying "When a currency becomes obsolete and is end dated ".Is this the exchange rates defined for a currency in MRC or anything else?
Please let me know in detail about the "Currency End Dated".
Your help will be appreciated a lot.
Thanks for your reply in advance.
Best Regards & Thanks,
Arun.

Arun,
This is the first time that I have met the "Journal Import Currency End Date Bypass". I haven't got a clue how it works or what it does, beyond what it says in Note:175777.1 as quoted above/below. However, it looks to me to be fairly self-explanatory. If a currency is end-dated (in other words, somebody has decided that the currency will not be used after a certain date) there should not be any more transactions in that currency. An example would be a European country joining the Euro and giving up its original national currency. However, there may be "old" transactions in your system that were created while the currency was still valid, but were not posted to GL before the currency "expired". This option allows you to say "Yes, I know about these transactions; they are valid, "old" transactions which should be posted to GL. They are not "new" transactions entered in the wrong currency."
If you want any more information, I suggest that you do exactly what I did - do some research, read, explore.
