Hii all
I have a big problem in my database
it was working fine and now i tried to connect to the database using sql
ORA-01033: ORACLE INTILIZIATION OR SHUTDOWN IN PRORESS
I opened Oracle enterprize manager Console
i connected well with no problem
and in the INSTANCE/CONFIGURATION
i found my database is mounted
when i tried to open it it gives me that error
ORA-00368 : checksum error in redo log block
ORA-00353: log corruption near block 9958 change time 09/25/2006
10:02:56 1289354
:ORA-00312 online log 2 thread 1 : 'D'ORACLE\ORADATA\WATER\REDO02.LOG\

how can i do a recovery i selected tools/database tools/backup mangement/Recovery
and it gives me that message
this application can only be launched when the applications is (connected to oracle manegment server (OMS
launch the application and connect to the OMS before trying to launch the wizard again
