How to assign 2 record groups to single LOV in forms [message #194343]

Hi,
I have 2 record groups which needs to be assigned to single LOV object.

The requirement is that, I have two items ,the first one is a list item which contains two values suppose {x and y}.
The second item has values that are dependent on the first item,suppose 1,2,3,4.
If i get x in the first item , I want 1,2 to be displayed in the second item and 3,4 with the value y.

Pls reply me as soon as possible.

Are you having columns of value 1,2,3,4 & Column of values x, y in same table ?

Use two LOVs. If you make them the same size and with the same label, your users won't know the difference.

yes, all the values are from same table.

I have two columns in that table i.e skill_type and skill_category .
skill_type has a,b...and skill_category as 1,2,3,4..
