hello!!!

i just want to ask where should i issue the sqlldr command?
i have tried doing it in sql* plus but it doesnt work.

Hi,

From Command prompt and from sql*plus like this :

sql>host sqlldr scott/tiger@orcl control=<controlfile.ctl>

u can also use it as cmd prompt like

c:\> sqlldr USERID=scott/tiger@orcl CONTROL=<controlfile.ctl> LOG=<logfilename>

i think this will help u.
