I wanna install oracle 8i enterprise edition on windows98. I have tried to configure net8 client too many times but it seem it is not working properly.
please do help me to configure or to install it properly. please mail me or reply with full installation steps

You better install a personal edition. Any enterprise/network edition would not be installed properly on a non-network (like WIN98) PC system. Oracle8i Enterprise edition would work better on a WIN NT/2000 network system. I installed Oralce8i personal edition on my personal WIN98 system. In case, you want to have a better version of it, you can download Oracle9i personal edition free from OTN.ORACLE.COM
You just subscribe for a free membership on OTN.ORACLE.COM and download any downloadable ORACLE version.
