Hii All
i import data to a new user created 'pistt'
using that command
imp pis/pis@ora8i FILE=e:\FINAL_BACKUP.DMP LOG=e:\Imp.LOG GRANTS=N fromuser=BILLT touser=pistt
but i got that error in my log file
Connected to: Oracle8i Release 8.1.7.0.0 - Production
JServer Release 8.1.7.0.0 - Production
IMP-00010: not a valid export file, header failed verification
IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully
is there any problem in my command

I guess, it is related to your previous post where you mentioned that you are using Oracle 8i import utility to import Oracle 9i export file.
If yes, then it could be the reason for error.
