hi pals
i have to format my system. now i am haveing windows 98 and personal oracle for win95.
so i have took the cold back of oracle. that is i have copied all control files, data files, log files, password files, init files and some other files. now i want to restore them into newly installed oracle for win95.
how to do this.
can i just copy (over write) all that backuped files in to current oracle directory.
or is there any other method to restore the cold backuped files.
