hi
i am ramkrishna
i am create one tablespace name is RG
then take a backup of this tablespace (RG)
after asm(automatic storage managment ) logon and try the delete RG tablesapce but can't delete ,error msg is display 'currently use' its very urgent can one of the command how can delete this tablespace
(i hv try restore the tablespace after asm delete)

Hi,
You cant simplly delete the tablespace.
You have to alter the tablespace and make it offline and then drop the tablespace. and dlete the related datafiles from OS level. And later on create the new tablespace wirh the samename.
