Need more details. What did you use to create the backupset, what files are in your backupset, are you archiving, etc.....)??

If you performed a clean shutdown and then did a cold backup, you could:
  1. copy all the files you backed up to the new server (ensuring exact same directory structure and naming conventions)
  2. create a new Windows service for the database using ORADIM
  3. start the new Windows service
  4. if needed, add appropriate listener entries
