Process of elimination: We got a book with 50000 names (I sh*t you not). 25000 of them were girls names, so they were gone straight away. Managed to eliminate another 24996 that one or both of us didn't like, or had already been taken by friends. Eliminated Maaher at the last moment when he spoiled it by guessing, then used the good old fashioned Westminster Polling System to pick one of the remaining three (Campbell, Nicholas, or Alexander).
Not too sure on nicknames, his friends will sort that one out. Some wit will undoubtedly latch on to the initials CJ (could have been worse - CJD) and call him Mad Cow. It's a bit of a family tradition to have a family nickname utterly unrelated to the real name (and no, you will NEVER discover mine) so something will probably emerge in the next few weeks.

I'm a little late on this one, but congratz nonetheless. If you ever took sleeping through the night for granted, you won't anymore. Give it some time though and he'll be loads of fun.
