Can someone please tell me how to implement L/C for a manufacturing company having large number of transactions.

Hi,

There is no direct fit is available for letter of credit in oracle apps, but the you can use "Invoice type Deposit or Guarantee for the same. But its a workaround and not the direct fit.
Since you are working on MFG Domain no of transactions might be high related to letter of credit, you can define Invoice Type Deposit or Guarantee depending on the tenure of LoC and can enter the transactions.
