Hi Folk,
I installed the 9.2.0 client on top of the 8i client on the PC. The install went smoothly. I can switch the oracle home using the selector.
But when I try executing the sqlplus client I got the following popup error message.
"This application has failed to start because oraclient9.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."
Can any one provide me some insight? I did reinstall the 8i client and then 9i client again. But getting the same result.
The main purpose is to has the 2 client s/w on the same PC. So I can connect to different version of oracle db (8.1 and 9.2).
Any info is much appreciated.
