rac initial init.ora and config doubts. [message #184780]

i have a few beginers questions pertaining to RAC.
i refered to documentation but am unclear on the below :

1) what do remote_listener and local_listener point to in init.ora

is this pointing to entries in listener.ora or tnsnames.ora

2) do both the nodes information (ie. if 2 nodes are there) be stored in the initNODE1.ora and initNODE2.ora

or should it be that node1 specific inf. to be in only initNODE1.ora and node2 specific inf. to be in only initNODE2.ora

3) what does srvctl -init represent
it says in doc that it should be run first for manual db creation.

is it so ??
