i installed oracle 9i on windows xp home edition but when the installation reached the 100% it remains at 100% without no progress so i canceled the installation ,but none of the oracle tools works and also the admin and oradata forlders were not exist ...

so i need to know y this happens ,and if there is any problem if i installed oracle server 9i at win xp home edition? ..

plz help .. thanks alot .

Oracle 9i won't work on XP Home edition; use Professional instead. Read more about preinstallation requirements.
