Hi everybody,
i am using a server with Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition and Oracle 10g at production site.
recently i made backup server which is same as production server.
Right now, one time in a day copy files (exported database) and some system files to backup server. Then, importing data.
it is my backup solution.
but it is not enough. i want to build backup same as production at anytime.
how do it?, and if data guard can do it, what is scrip and step?

You can always implement a Physical Standby Database.
To get you started, scan through the Data Guard Concepts and Administration manual. When done, print chapter 3 (Creating a Physical Standby Database) and follow the steps.
