Hello, I have loaded Personal editition 8.1.5. I got SQL+ to work fine. But when I go to Forms6i to connect, it gives me a
'ORA:-12154: could not resolve service name', is this a bug in the OUI? Is there anyway to install this so that Forms6i also can connect to the db?

I get no error message when installed, I loaded the Forms CD, first, everything seemed to go fine, I did this according to the Oracle site for this book.(8i)

Hello, I went HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE,software,Oracle. Under Oracle_Homes it says NAME:default TYPE:REG_SZ DATA:NO VALUE.
under:HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT Oracle-has the same setting as above.
Oracle.FormsBinary value Default, REG_SZ, VALUE,Oracle Developer Form Module.
not sure if I'm in the right place to check the value and what should the value be?
