Oracle & Unix System Date [message #179695]

I have an application that requires a change to the UNIX system date in order for me to run some regression tests.
I get the following error when i change the system date.

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [2252], [2116], [2164575524], [], [], [], [], []

All databases running on the same system are also not accessible.

Anyone knows what the error means and whats causing it?

This happens on an Oracle 9.2.0.7.0 and the other databases are different versions some are 10G

Was this database restored recently?
did you set the system time too much away from the time recorded in control file and did a restart of the database?
Please post the contents of alert log .

The database was originally version 9.2.0.1 this was upgraded last week.
Before the upgrade, we used to get teh same problems but only if we change the system date and then restart the database. (This happened even we changed just the Oracle date and not the unix date)

Since the upgrade the error is showing up without having to restart the database.

The database was recently upgraded(last week) but not restored..

The system time was set to two years before today.
Which control file are u refering to?

Open a TAR with Oracle support.
There are several known bugs in this case.
