Hi guys

I am new to Oracle administration,
I am required to move a database from one server to another...

Could any one give me the detailed steps to accomplish this task..

If the database is on different OS, export / import is the only choise ( unless you use transportable tablespaces).
Export import is easy option if the volume of database is less.
If the OS is same,
just copy the datafiles to other server and rebuild the control file.
Search for export/import and cold copy backup/clone in forum.
