Hi all,

Thanks for Helping me in this regards

I had installed the Oracle 8i Client & Oracle 10g Client in my machine. Now i had developed the program to fetch data from 8i and to post the same into 10g. First client its is accepting and while opening the second client the following Error Occurs

ORA-12154:TNS:Could not resolve the connection identifier.

Yes, you have a tnsnames.ora problem. Have you tried database links? They work well.
