hey,

Just yesterday i did that. There are basically two steps

1) in the RDF change the system parameter called mode to bitmap.
2) in the concurrent program take the output format as PDF.

Hai,

little modification to the steps as said by urchin556

1) in the RDF change the system parameter called mode to bitmap.
2) in the concurrent program take the output format as PDF.

I think only second step is enough. We have the lot of reports which required to be saved/printed in PDF format, so only try with second step, revert back the first step and try.

2) in the concurrent program take the output format as PDF.

Kiran

what error you got?? is ur server unix or linux based? basically PDF is a bitmap format so if ur server has non-window OS then you need to set display option which is done by the DBA.

Hi,

1) In RDF => set mode to bitmap.
2) In report reg. => set o/p to PDF.

Trying to run report and stuck in following error.

Thanks,

Hi,

Whats the OS ??? If its non-windows OS then ask your DBA to set display option .I faced the same situation.

I've got a Word document which explains how to do this in Financials if that's of any use. I'd just paste the text here, but you'd miss out on the table and screen captures.

dreamkatcha,
When replying, you can attach files or you can post your document as and article or white paper on orafaq.

Oh I didn't realise, thanks for the tip. I've now attached the document. It's probably copyrighted to the University of Manchester so the usual rules apply - only squint at it through one eye while hopping on your left leg and humming the national anthem. Wink

2) In report - set o/p to PDF.

Trying to run report and found the error.
