Will view definition be part of the oracle dump when we export the by schema(user)?

Try something like that:
>imp userid=system file=expdat.dmp show=y full=y

Option show=y shows only object definions which are in the dump file.

Yes, view definition is also contained in the .dmp file produced by the Export utility. How would you expect Import to make an exact copy of exported schema if it lacks in something (views, for example)? Would you create all those missing stuff manually?

Thanks for responses. I wanted to know, if in the current schema i have views, will the export command have the view as part of it?
