Or people run on OS-browser combinations that have proven not to be so vulnerable..
You can click a lot of links quite safely in Safari on OSX.
But I do agree on the idea of your post. I hardly doubt that many of these people are not on Windows.

If it is a virus why is it still on the forum? I usually click on forum link without the fear that it might be a virus
