I’m a newbie at workflow and I have a requirement to customize PO Approval workflow Notification this means Notification will have more information than Oracle seeded notification information, by adding additional information to the notification email that is sent out (such as freight terms etc.).

Having reviewed most of the workflow processes and corresponding packages, I’m unsure in which of the WF process/pkg to implement the change and what steps to follow in order to add /implement it accordingly.

Any guideline on what steps to follow is much appreciated in advance.

thanks

A quick find with "PO Approval workflow" leads you to many documents among which Note:217789.1, Note:189674.1, Note:118664.1 ...
You should also look for developer's guide.

You have to download the *PO*.wft Workflow file from the server, copy it to the local machine. open it in the workflow-builder. I'm not sure about workflow Name.

And I also feel that it requires Oracle Application Frames (OAFrames) to modify the Notification Details.

Hope this gives some idea for you, I know very little about this.

Kiran
