Errer when running Funds Check Process [message #174138]

hi all,

when i am creating budget journal the following error is displaying when i press the "Check Funds" tab in create budget juornal screen. what i have to do to rectify the error. please any one give solution for this.

"Error: APP-SQLGL-08016: A fatal error occured during the funds check process. please contact your system administrator"

1.) Look up the error number APP-SQLGL-08016 in MetaLink. I found 4 entries straight away. I don't know which one is relevant to you.

2.) Don't shout. It is extremely bad manners.

MetaLink is Oracle's official support web site. Unfortunately it is not free. If you have Oracle support you also have a Customer Support Identifier (CSI). It is with this CSI that you can register. Ask your Oracle responsible about MetaLink access.

You can access MetaLink via https://metalink.oracle.com/. You will need your CSI (Customer Support Identifier) to sign up. If you don't know what it is, ask your APPS DBA, who probably uses MetaLink frequently.

No, sorry, I can't send you the entries I found. They are confidential. If your organisation has a support agreement with Oracle, and has a CSI (see above) then you can access them directly yourself.
