SELECT A.CONCATENATED_SEGMENTS, A.CODE_COMBINATION_ID, ATK_GL_GET_CCID_NAME(C.SET_OF_BOOKS_ID,A.CODE_COMBINATION_ID)

FROM GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS_KFV A, GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS_V B, GL_SETS_OF_BOOKS C

WHERE A.CODE_COMBINATION_ID = B.CODE_COMBINATION_ID
--AND C.SET_OF_BOOKS_ID = (SELECT FND_PROFILE.VALUE
('GL_SET_OF_BKS_ID') FROM DUAL)
（i can‘t find any value if this sentence is plus）

AND C.CHART_OF_ACCOUNTS_ID = A.CHART_OF_ACCOUNTS_ID
ORDER BY A.CONCATENATED_SEGMENTS

what does this ’select。。‘ mean？
please give me some help

It goes and find out SET OF BOOKS ID from profile option value
